Principle

This site is deliberately built lean. It sets no cookies, embeds no external services – no fonts, maps, analytics or video platforms – and uses no tracking. The video is served from our own server as well. Opening these pages therefore transfers no data to third parties.

Server log files

When the site is accessed, the server automatically records information sent by your browser: the page requested, date and time, volume of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL and IP address. This data is technically required to deliver the site and ensure its secure operation. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is deleted after seven days at the latest and not combined with other sources.

Contact

If you contact me by email or telephone, I process your details solely in order to handle the enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed – as a rule three years after the correspondence ends.

Hosting

The site is operated at a service provider that processes the resulting data on my instructions under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Only servers within the European Union are used.

Links to social networks

This site links to my LinkedIn profile. It is a plain text link, not an embedded element: as long as you do not click it, no data is transferred to LinkedIn.

You have the right at any time to

• rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

An informal message to the address above is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, here the Independent Centre for Privacy Protection Schleswig-Holstein.
